What's with the name?
rs9 = Random Stuff (+ random number)
This site is a collection of random thoughts, ideas and experiments. In ye olde days, we'd call that a "blog" but now it's just a personal website.
With random stuff.
But the real truth about the name is... I wanted to find the shortest available domain name. A .ca top-level domain (TLD) works (because I'm based in Canada anyways). All the 2-letter domain names for a .ca TLD are taken. All the 3-letter domain names consisting of letters are taken. So I was left with 2 letters and a number. And here we are: rs9.ca.
Who are you?
This site is run by Kendall Anderson. I'm a programmer, formally trained as an architect, who spends too much time playing with a camera. I've been developing computer applications since the mid-1980s and working with photography since the mid-1990s.
